Like the subject says. I believe my drive face is busted. It wobbles and i can spin it freely with my hand. And i cannot remove the nut. Is there any tips on how to remove this. I have previously removed this before within The last 8 years. Twice once to change the belt , then once to change the variator weights. But now im stumped. This past winter it was odd i went for a kickstart and it wad completley jammed. ( this is just a side note) so after two weeks with the weather getting better i took the cover off and cleaned up the kickstart and spring. That was working properly. Or so i thought. But then a few weeks now i noticed that my top speed was only 23 miles per hour and it felt like the belt was slipping. So this past week i started to take it apart again but stop when i notice this damn drive face wobbled. If necessary i can email a video clip i took. Hopefully this gets by someone soon.

It kind of happen to me, at some point, in a professionnal shop, someone did tight the nut too much which cause the whole assembly to compress itself and the locking plate just after the nut, and the nut itself, went too far on the drive shaft. Even the treads for the locking plate got eaten by the nut.... Soo the all thing is scrap...making it easy to remove it ! ( even with extrem prejudice ) Because of the deformation of the variator, the inside of my engine case got damage by it... After reinstalling a new pollini kit, i had it wobbling because of the impossibility to correctly tighten the locking plate with the nut because of the destructed tread... So i resolved the problem by adding a washer between the nut and the locking plate ! Hope it’s kind of clear as mud !🤣 And that could help someone else !
