At 6' 2" and 215lb's the little Ruckus does NOT seem made for me. What handlebars, seat and/or foot peg mods have worked for similar riders? Or is the little Ruck really for lil' dudes anyway......

I'm 6'5 & 215 & it did seam very small for me at first. The only couple of things I've done was add a foot pegs on the side & behind the front tire & that helped out a whole lot. Putting your feet on the floorboard sucks, almost using your knees to drive with. I also believe theres a way to slide the seat back some but I haven't done that yet. believe theres a thread under Stock Modifications. Panaba has posted a how to on the front foot pegs. Thats what I did & it worked great. ;D

I put some padded A/C pipe insulator on the pipe behind the seat and i ride all the way back and seems to be confortable enough for my daily commute to work but i am not as tall as you

I actually did that for a while before putting the back rest on but I did'nt use any pad. Thought about taking the back rest off & doing that. Much more room but i've got a crate I use alot mounted to the back rest

I too was very uncomfortable being 6-2. I bought some BMX foot pegs and once they were put on I felt a lot more comfortable riding. Plus I feel that I have better control over the bike.

Just don't lean too far over or they'll drag and you might wipe out. Bikes have foldable pegs for a reason. On the flip side, if you do crash they save quite a bit of damage to your scooter as it really just slides on the pegs, tires and handlebars (in my experience). I used to have BMX pegs on my Ruckus and I scraped them a few times which was quite scary.

If they aren't grinding, you aren't riding hard enough...

Yeah, Skuuter doesn't have pegs like ours... he drags the center stand.

Yeah, Skuuter doesn't have pegs like ours... he drags the center stand. I had pegs on the White 06 like that once......drug constantly, and I couldn't get enough lean sometimes. When the centerstand drags, you know there's no more lean left on the stock tires either. I think (if I never went on gravel roads, I'd change to these, and still might sometime) with a set of tires like Chanito's and centerstand removal, a person could really "crank some corners"................

I'm using a pair of bicycle BMX pegs I picked up from Target ('cause that was the cheapest place I could find a black pair)

Hey Stumpy, they look great. I can put them on the wife's Ruck and ride it, then she can fold them up when she rides. I'll look into a pair. I'm 6'8" and get laughed at when I ride it. Needs a little more power for me, but it is still a fun ride.
